MEET TANIA NEMER
Tania Nemer is a former Federal Immigration Judge and Summit County Magistrate who currently serves as Deputy Chief of Civil, Tax, and Child Support for the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office. In each role, she has been entrusted with serious legal responsibility and complex decision-making.
Over the course of her career, Tania has handled criminal, civil, federal, and appellate matters experience that gives her a broad understanding of the law and how court decisions affect real people. She is known for being prepared, thoughtful, and steady when cases are difficult and the consequences are significant.

As a wife, mother, and active member of the community, Tania understands the connection between safe neighborhoods, strong families, and fair courts. Tania is running for Judge to keep our community safe, our courts strong, and our justice system worthy of the people it serves.
